This calculator will estimate the number of tons of asphalt/hot mix that will be required. This estimate is based on a density for the mix of 150 lbs per cubic foot. Please note that densities will vary somewhat between different mixes, but this value is a standard “rule of thumb” for estimating.

Aggregate

The calculator will estimate the number of tons of stone that will be required. Please note that densities will vary somewhat between different loads, but the default values assigned for Sub Base Stone and Drain Stone are good standard “rules of thumb” for estimating.

Step 2:

Enter in your estimated dimmensions: Length, Width, and Thickness. (Note the differences in Feet/Inches)

Step 3:

After each dimension is entered your estimated ton requirement will be shown for you to review
